When designing the logo, I took inspiration from traditional NASA and Soviet space company logos. However, I also liked the idea of having the rocket fly around the text, to give the logo a sense of momentum which hints at the gameplay involved. Below are my initial sketches:

I put these on social media to ask for people’s opinions and favourites, however, I realised too late that I should have numbered them; giving each design a number would have easily allowed for people to quickly comment their favourites. General feedback from friends that I asked personally showed that those with the most potential were the second from the top left, and the two with red highlights. Therefore, I expanded these into the designs below:

After some consideration, whilst I liked the overall design, I felt that having lots of thin curved lines would not stand out well as a logo. Therefore, I had to scrap the second design. I did still want to keep the clock, though, so I decided to come up with a new design inspired by the first one.

Finally, I redesigned and produced the above logo in Affinity Designer to create a scaler vector graphic logo. Doing this allows the logo to be scaled up or down to any size without affecting the quality of the image. I produced 2 versions of the logo, one for larger image renders such as on websites or posters, and a smaller one for smaller renders where the text would be impossible to read, such as at the bottom of booklets or magazines. These are both below:
